Having A party don't know where to start, need some help you've come to the right place Parties on the Move is a Group that I started a little over a year ago to help people plan the any event or ocassion. I started this because when my best friend got married in 1998 she cried alnight because things didn't go the way she planned them out she was on a fixed income just like most of us are today and she spend all this money to have the day of her dreams and she hated it everything about that day image it, frist it was raining, then the flowers were wrong, the music was out of date for us lol , the food was bland no seasoning, the pictures were okay and the only people seemed to be happy was the guest and that day was supposed to be about her, So when I got married I wanted to make sure that my day would be one I remembered not because of it's flaws but because of how special it will be. I too was on a fixed income being a mother of 4 and starting this new life with the father of my youngest son, so I got to work I had a small formal wedding just family and a few friends about 75 people total I got married in a beautiful chapel, my colors were cream and black, the night before my Mom, Mother-In-Law, my Sister and myself went and decorated the center I was renting, I did all my own party favors with the help of my Family and we even did the cooking I provided my own DJ. I brought my wedding cake from one of philly's finest bakery's around. This will be a day I never forget because it was the day I vowed to spend the rest of my life with the man I love in front of family and friends and everything went off as planned even down to the fireworks and the candlit tables,I sent each guest home with there own little keepsake letting them know just how much it meant to me to have them share this day with me.
